After Surgery update
Trying this for about the 3rd time today. This thing has ate it every time.
Tuesday night I went to bed with the idea that I was going to be taken down to surgery at 7:00 for an around 8/8:30 AM surgery. I woke up at 6:30 only to find out that I wasn't going to be having it until 1:00PM! which meant that I couldn't eat anything all day and the last time I had eaten anything was 10:30 the night before. So, 1:00 rolls around and nobody comes. All I'm told is that I just have to wait until they call for me. They didn't come for me until 1:50. They took me down to like a holding room I guess, I waited there for like an hour until they finally got me rolled into the O.R. Somewhere between 3 and 3:30 They started and I was in the recovery room at 4:40 from what I was told. I didn't wake-up in recovery until around 6:50. Why they just let me sleep like that, I'll never know. I was back in my room at 7:05 asked for something to eat because I had a splitting headache. I didn't get anything until 9:35!
I'll be in here about a week more from what the doctor said then I'll be moved to where Mom is for an unknown amount of time. Weather or not I'll be able to get internet capabilities is up in the air right now aswell. Sorry this is late for anyone who has been checking and waiting for an update from me but, like I said, this has ate atleast 2 attempts.
