Football season done
Football season pretty much ended for me on Sunday when the Browns played the final game of the season. I'll still watch the playoff games though probably. We actually won the game Sunday, which surprised me. Once we started not winning games, I wrote off the rest of the season as that we'd not win another game. I was almost right! The other thing that this win did was now, instead of having the number 2 pick in the draft, we have the 3rd. Hopefully we won't mess it up this time!
Jeff Garcia, what can I say about this guy? Well, first of all, I never wanted the guy when we signed him, but we did. While we were talking to him about signing, his Dad said that he'd be signing with us before it happened. Now, his dad has opened his mouth again to a paper where He and Jeff live. The interview was done on December 29 with the Gilroy Dispatch. Um, Jeff? Can't YOU talk? why does you're Dad have to talk for you? aren't you like, 34, 35 years old? Yeah, Jeff did some talking in this interview but, it just irritates me that his Dad was pretty much talking for him.
I don't think Jeff Will be back in Cleveland next year. We are revamping the whole front office, getting a GM, and new Head Coach. So, unless the new guys want/like him, He's gone.
We had A LOT of injuries, 15 on Injured Reserve to be exact. So, I hope that with new coaches, The way the team practices will change. When Butch was the Coach, it was said that he had hard and long practices. Apparently this year was no exception. I wish I could find a list of how many we've had on IR since the Browns came back into the league in 1999. I know it's been a lot each year but, I don't know the exact numbers.
