A: Just working
Q: Why wasn't Love Bites played on the German TV show and Two Steps Behind was
A: We wanted to that but, the TV show wanted 2 Steps.
Q: Viv says you are touring in the spring - anymore info to share on that?
A: We won't start touring til next year. And we'll probably start in the States in the Summer.
Q: Do you know when the covers album will come out
A: Covers album - maybe towards the end of next year
Q: So, now German shows next year
A: Don't know yet.
Q: Will there be a relase to tie in with the tour? Best of in the USperhaps?
A: It's not up to us. I think the best of will be out for us to tour the states
Q: Why are the lead vocal mics at concerts always so quiet?
A: Ask our sound guy. everyone has a seperate mix on stage. my vocals are blairingly loud on stage
Q: Can you tell us something to the direction of the next album?
A: No ballads. More rockQ: Any chance of an analog recordA: Would be nice but I doubt it.
Q: Well, I hope for some more rock but, realse there won't be another High "n" Dry
A: Lyrically there won't be another High "n" Dry but, we may go back to that kind of sound.
Q: Was it worth the travel to Germany for just one song
A: I think it was worth the travel it was a good start
Q: Why don't you and viv show your great guitar skills on the last records? not many solos and such things
A: If a song needs a solos we'll stick them in. but, a lot of the stuff we've been doing doesn't need solos
Q: Do you have a single for the US best of
A: Not sure what the single will be yet.
Q:There were rumors about you and Motley Crue touring next year.
A: I heard the rumor but, we're not.
Q: Which songs do you like and not like playing live?
A: I love playing Rocket live. don't like playing ballads live.
Q: Why not ballads
A: I find ballads boring.

Q:You performed Two Steps behind it was very bad who has the choice of ts song? Joe's voice was bad during the TV show in Germany
A: I thought Joe's voice was great. The Tv show picked the song.
Q: Is there a possibility of releasing a boxset with live and rare meterial?
A: We may have two albums out next year so we can't push it.
Q: Tell us more
A: A studio album the year after. we're writing on stuff now. the Man-Raze stuff I want to get finished before the Def Leppard tour.
Q: How long will the summertour last if it happens?
A: Probably the whole summer
Q: Just the US so far?
A: So far. unless we get any offers from Europe.
Q: How did you like the UK touring the theaters last time?
A: I loved playing in the theaters last year. It was great fun
Q: Was there a party after the gig in Germany and did you talk with other bands
A: I didn't go to the party, they were smoking too much and it made me sick.
Q: What kind of Kit will Rick play on the next record?
A: I think it would be good if he played an accustic sounding one.
Q: Where do you see Def Leppard in 5 years?
A: I'd like people to actually hear our stuff. I just want the covers album to come out.
Q: Are you still unhappy with the Best of?
A: I think the Best of is cool.
Q: You mentioned other people taking a vocal, any chances of you Sav or Viv taking a vocal?
A: All of us do a lead vocal on certains songs on the covers album.
Q: Even Rick?
A: Except Rick.
Q: What songs will be on the covers album? what bands? sweet to?
A: Yes there is a Sweet song on there.
Q: Which one?
A: Not gonna tell you.
Q: What are your favorite books and movies?
A: I love the first Alien movie. Books: "Of love and diamonds", "A people's history of the united states."
Q: Ever thought about changing the record company
A: We can't. we signed a contract.
Q: A mix between Pyromania and Hysteria would be great
A: Yeah that would be great.
Q: There is a thread on the OF, there are people worried leave the band. at least thats how they understood the interview. that's silly right?
A: What did I say in the interview? I'm not leaving yet.

A: I said I'm not leaving yet.
Q: Will there be a next time on a European tour?
A: I hope so that's the plan.
Q: Is it hard to find a balance between pleasing yourself and trying to be successful?
A: Yes it's hard to find a balance you're always gonna upset someone.
Q: What are the immediate plans before the summer tour?
A: lots of work, lots of personal stuff.
