Lie
Now that I have told you about me being in a wheelchair and all that stuff, I have to rant about a rumor that started about me a few months back that was NOT true. I had been talking to this person in IMs for a while that I had seen on a DL board. I started talking to her pretty much because she was from the same state as me and about my age. From the very beginning I thought she was a bit "off" but, I never said anything and just passed it off. She had said that when she got kicked offline, it was because of phone calls coming in. OK, that's a reasonable answer. She'd tell me other reason's aswell.
After a while, I just wasn't believing her. So, a few months back, I'm talking to a friend of mine on the phone and she's said something to the effect of, "I have something to tell you but, I don't want to get you mad" Now, when somebody starts out with that kind of a line, you can almost bet you will get mad at whatever is about to get told to you, and I did. She goes on to tell me that she was talking to one of her friends and that I had been brought up by the friend that I had been talking to online. My friend goes on to tell me that she was told by her friend that "online friend" had told her that I wanted to go roadtriping with her to meet DL. Um, first of all, yes, we did have conversations about roadtriping but, NOT for the purpose of me meeting the band!
I have been going to DL shows since I was 8 years old and have met them MANY times in that time. I sure as HELL don't need to go roadtriping with someone for the purpose of that. I had told my friend this story well before hand and she knew the story so, she told her friend. Thank God I told her so she could put the "rumor" to rest. Why "online friend" told that bogus story, I will never know because I don't talk to her anymore. I blocked her as soon as I heard this story. I had to or I would of totally bitched her out. No point in it. But, it's been proven as of late what a psycho she is.
