A Game of Clue. Part 5: With What
Sorry this is late. Been having computer problems today.
They went through the candlestick one at a time and soon found it not to be the murder weapon.
Next came the knife, which was immediately ruled out.
Then came the revolver, but it, too, was ruled out because all six bullets remained in the barrel.
The lead pipe was looked at and was set aside as well.
Then, at long last, they came to the final two weapons. The wrench and the rope.
"What do you think?" asked Mr. Green (Phil) as he handed the wrench to Mr. Scarlett (Joe).
"Hmm..." said Mr. Scarlett (Joe), looking it over, "I don't see any blood on it, nor do I see anything else on it."
"Here, let me have a go." said a frustrated Col. Mustard (Malvin) as he took it, "Nope. I don't think this is it."
"Neither do I." said Mr. Peacock (Sav).
"Well..." sighed Professor Plum (Viv), "That leaves the..."
Upon picking up the rope, Professor Plum (Viv) looked down at the rope and saw a piece of Mr. Mensch's fingernail stuck inside the fiber of the rope.
"Mr. White?"
"What?"
"What do you think?"
Mr. White (Rick) looked at the rope and saw the fingernail, recognizing it as Mr. Mensch's.
"This is it, you guys." said Mr. White (Rick), "This is what killed him."
"So...he was strangled?" asked Col. Mustard (Malvin).
"Yeah, he had to. Somebody punched him in the mouth, causing him to bleed. And while he was down...he was strangled to death." Mr. Green (Phil) assumed.
"Precisely!" said Professor Plum (Viv).
"Now we're onto something!" said Mr. Scarlett (Joe), "And now we're down to who did it?"
"Well...we've all had a motive for wanting to kill him." said Mr. Peacock (Sav).
"One of us finally did him in." sighed Mr. Green (Phil), "Just have to figure out who now by looking for some kind of evidence of their presence."
"Right!" said Mr. White (Rick)
CLUE #5
Not a very pleasant color on a car, but seems to be a popular colour on certain cars from the 70s.
