But, this doesn't surprise me really.
We are sad to report that the release of the new compilation album "BEST OF DEF LEPPARD" outside the UK/Europe/Japan has been put on hold and that there are no immediate plans for any future release. Unfortunately, this also applies to the DVD release. At this moment, we are unable to say if (and when) the CD or DVD will be released in North America, or anywhere else outside the UK/Europe/Japan.
Those markets that will not see the release of "BEST OF" will continue to carry the original 1995 hits compilation "VAULT", whereas in the UK/Europe/Japan, "VAULT" will be deleted and replaced by "BEST OF".
The band and us at DEFLEPPARD.com are disappointed by this unfortunate turn of events. At this moment, the only thing we can do is to advise everyone who wants a copy of the album or DVD to order it from any of the UK-based online stores below. As soon as we get any information about a possible "BEST OF" release outside the UK/Europe/Japan, we will post it on the site.
