CDs coming out
So, we all know that DL is coming out with a re-issue of Vault with Waterloo Sunset on one of the discs with a DVD later this month. That's cool, I guess. Then I find out although a bit late that Joe did a radio interview with some other people and said that they ARE putting out a Cover Album in May or June and they are gonna tour the Cover Album release. After hearing Waterloo Sunset, I'm looking forward to the release.
The other day I was bouncing around some of my other favorite band sites and saw that 3 Doors Down is going to be putting out a new CD Febuary 5th, 2005 and have a tour this summer! This after they just got off tour not to long ago. Sweet!
I went on to Nickelback's site cause someone posted on SOL that Nickelback had a final Tour Diary. In it they said that they are going to be putting out a new CD late next year. No date given as yet. After seeing NB and 3DD this summer, I can't wait for the new CDs and tours from them! It will be interesting to see who they tour with. NB and 3DD toured together this past year incase you wondered.
Before you start asking, Yes I'm excited that DL will be back on tour again but, I'm just a little bit more excited about the other two than I am DL. I guess it's probably because they eventually end up doing the same old Greatest Hits tour every tour. Maybe things will change as far as promotion, more of the newer songs especially from X cause they didn't get a fair deal with that CD. I mean, Torn To Shreds, Four Letter Word? LOVE those songs! Only one out of that list got played in concert! Well because they have a new guy at the label maybe things will start happening but, I won't believe things are actually gonna happen anymore til I see or hear thinigs for myself. I'm gonna guess that as far as X is concerned we will only hear Now and FLW but, I hope not! I could list a whole bunch of songs I would love to hear played but, that would never happen because they have to play the hits to please the old time fans.
After hearing the Vegas bootleg from the US date last year, I hope they took notice of the reaction that WL&HC got and they keep it in the setlist. That was AMAZING! I get chills everytime I hear the reaction to it. Gotta love Joe's comments throughout the show though as well. Some of those were really funny.
